Gregory Helms Biography
On July 12, 1974 a child born in America at North Carolina and given a name Gregory Helms, no one knows that this kid is going to be the world best wrestler. Extreme nature and vision to become a best wrestler turns Gregory Helms to take part in the wrestling and he was trained by himself to become the professional wrestler. Making his career in wrestling and after fighting in different independent promotions including the “Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts” innovated by the Hardy’s brothers who are the great wrestler of the all time and with the vision that how to become the supper stars. In 2000 to join the “World Championship Wrestling” Gregory Helms and his wrestling friend Shannon Moore signed contract with WCW.

In starting Helms joined the popular boy’s band that performs before his match and his foes attack on them while they perform. Then after some time Gregory Helms tired to reach for the “WCW Cruiserweight Champion” for the first time in his career. Before WCW brought out by the World Wrestling Federation He got Cruiserweight Championship for the first time in his wrestling career. WWF Gregory Helms run was full with ups and downs due to some tough matches of his life and some of them he loose unfortunately. Helms Theme song become very popular when he change his name from Shane to Hurricane and Helms wallpapers with his new look published and thousands of Helms videos released with his supper action. Due to the confusion of the similar name of Shane McMahon, the authorities advised him to change his name from Shane Helms to Hurricane Helms with this name he go little success then he chose his character as Hurricane. With the passage of time, his character of Hurricane gradually grabs the attention of his fan around the globe and Gregory logos were published on many products. Helms best time comes when he got a chance for the Royal Rumble 2002 as “superhero Strength” during the match he tried to double chokeslam to the mega superstars Triple H and Steve Austin in which he failed. Hurricane stole the girlfriend of Spike Dudley’s Molly Holly and she appears with the Helms in a motorcycle which was decorated with the WWE Helms logos and Molly.

Holly was sitting on the side car. The WWE Helms become the attractive wrestler and thousand of Helms download midi released on internet. Later on Hurricane win the title of tag team champion from the Taijri and Kidman in triple threat match. Moving to his next success he defeated to Matt Hardy for European Title in the edition of Raw but unfortunately this title remain with him for two months and he lost this title of European Champion in the hands of Bradshaw. In the year of 2003 Hurricane Start feud with The Rock and this went on for some time and break up in a match when Rock clearly dominate the Hurricane but luckily he win the match with the help of Steve Austin. Mean while he discovered the Rosey’s strength to become the super hero so he decided to train him as superhero and introduced him in the Wrestling as Hero is undertraining. On May 2005 Hurricane and Rosey take ride over the La Resistance by defeating them in the finals of “The World Tag Team Championship” match not long after winning the Title of “World Tag Team Championship” the hottest Diva of the time Stacy Keibler joins the Rosey as his Sidekicker but unfortunately Hurricane and Rosey lost Stacy when She and Christy Hemme traded to the SmackDown.

Hurricane and Rosey were defeated by Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch on September 5, 2005 on “The Raw” debut match of both new comers though this was non title match but the pair gained a chance at Unforgiven. During the title match which unfortunately Hurricane lost due to serious injury created by the Murdoch through DDT that hurts the Hurricane and he lost the title. After loosing the title Hurricane leave the Rosey alone to face the doubled teamed and in that match Hurricane appear on the top of entrance of ramp, recovering his real name Gregory Helms, he watched Rosey doubled teamed and defeated by the foes and just after the match Hurricane announces that he is sick form Rosey as carrying him tag team partner and he is fed up being a joker in the front of crowd.


Hurricane and Rosey Face in single action on November7, 2005 in Raw Edition and this was the match in which Rosey’s career ends in WWE though Helms won the match with shining wizard. Later on Helms talk about on the jerry comments passed on December 26, 2005 on his appearance and his absence on Raw for several weeks. In early 2006 Hurricane invite Jerry “The King” Lawler to settle the comments controversy in which jerry said that Hurricane was the half-entertainer but now he is a guy that sucked, listening this words blow up Hurricane mind and he slap on Jerry face then jerry punched on his face through him out of the ring later on this confrontation lead both men to a match in New Year Revolution.

On 2006 Royal Rumble Helms was invited by SmackDown for the Cruiserweight Championship and all previous champions including Kid Kash, Funaki, Paul London, Jamie Noble and Nunzio luckily Helms win the title putting shining wizard on Funaki.

Helms continuously defending his title against the other cruiserweight champions and other title holders especially in Champion vs. Champion match to face the world Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio on June 2006 and after it United States Champion Bobby Lashley on July 2006 he was unable to win these heavy matches and he lose both matches. But Helms defense for his cruiserweight championship makes him the longest title holder in the WWE History. After this success lots of Helms Pictures, Helms galleries, Helms music and Helms mp3 songs were released by all major companies and Helms wrestling style become famous around the globe.
